The Unnamable
Directed by Jean-Paul Ovellette. Starring Mark Kinsey Stephanson, Katrine Alexandra.

Let me first start by saying they should have really named this movie, "The Unnwatchable". This is one of those movies that has a few names from here and there, but really there is nothing remotely similar to anything Lovecraft would have done. In fact, Lovecraft just might have used such strong terms as "blasphemous", "malignant", "wretched", or "appaling" to describe this movie. We have Randolph Carter and company searching for their friend, who had the un-luck to run into a little nasty running around in the old Winthrop House. Meanwhile, a group of Miskatonic University frat boys manage to lure two young women into the house for their nefarious little plans. Nearly everyone you loathe is killed, and those who aren't killed, you wish they had been.

    Things to Look for

  • The systematic killing off of most of the detestable characters in the film.
  • Miskatonic frat boys getting the ole 'gut spillage'.
  • The credits ('cause that means the movie is finally over!)
