McLaren
Directed by Ted Purvis.

Director Ted Purvis has brought us a tale that mirrors many of Lovecraft's.  Tales of degeneration and backwards evolution into monstrous beings.  This film has such a flair to it.  A sort of Quigley Down Under meets The Lurking Fear.  And a female protagonist to boot!  The choice of  locales and photography are stunning.
The story begins when the heir to the McLaren name and land comes to claim it.  However, is she ready to deal with the dark secret behind her family name, and to accept the truth behind her father's dissappearnce.  An interesting twist to an old premise behind many of Lovecraft's more popular tales and worth a look.
