The Necronomicon  is stolen from the Public Library and a cult is trying to awaken Cthulhu.  Some interesting things  that go on in this episode are that Egon asks for help from Dr. Alice Derleth in Arkham, MA and that Ray used to borrow "Mr. Howard's"  books when he was a little kid.
