The Dunwich Horror This movie, released in 1970, is a far cry from Lovecraft's story of the same name. There is a lot of sexual overtone in this movie, with a seemingly "seductive" Wilbur Whateley. This movie has rubbed some people the wrong way. But I must admit, it is a favorite of mine. Don't ask me why, because I am as of yet, still unsure why. The back cover of this movie states, "It will leave you in shear terror". Well, I beg to differ, its just not that scary at all. Of course, it has its redeeming qualities and being produced by Roger Corman, you'd expect some of the B-rate horror elements, which are plentiful, such as gratuitous breast and nipple shots as well as the monster camera shooting its p.o.v.
