The Curse (1987)
Nowhere does it make reference to HPL's The Colour Out of Space but you can't help but see the blatent resemblance. A meteor falls on a Tennessee farm, and soon, weird events take place. The animals start acting funny, attacking their owners. A chicken tries to peck Wil Wheaton's eyes out, a horse attempts to trample another farm hand. And then, the mother of the small family goes insane. Striking similarities?! It appears that chemicals from the meteor have seeped into the groundwater and its effects on the enviornment is disasterous. Truthfully, I think this screenplay was cursed, therefore I only included one clip from the movie. curse1.wav Wil Wheaton explains what happened with the meteor to the local doctor.
